GLAM UP ANYWAY!

Eid is a time filled with happiness and laughter. So what? If you have to spend this Eid in quarantine that is no reason to not enjoy yourself. Glam up, wear that favorite outfit you have been meaning to try and do what makes you happy. 

 

Even in times like these, we need to cheer up for us and for the people around us. 

 

1. JOIN IN THE SOCIAL BANDWAGON

 

With everyone staying indoors, social platforms have never been more creative. So, why not try some of the popular trends. The recent saree challenge or don’t rush challenge certainly seems fun to do with your friends, family, or colleagues.

 

2. CONNECT WITH YOUR LOVED ONES DIGITALLY

 

Take this time to connect with friends and family you have not been in touch for a while. Instead of using zoom and skype for meetings why not try group calls. You can also use Netflix-party to watch movies with your gang, catch a few laughs, and have a good time.

 

3. TIME FOR SOME SELF LOVE

 

You can finally catch a break from all the office meetings, deadlines, and housework. So some self-love should definitely be on the list of priorities. Set up your very own home-based spa. Whip up a good face mask and exfoliator. Get good steam to open up those pores, moisturize, sit back, and relax. Take a break, you have definitely earned it.

 

4. LET YOUR CREATIVITY FLOW

 

Painting, cooking, dancing, singing, DIY crafting whatever your hobby is, try it. You can certainly manage the time for it now. So why not refurbish on those skills or pick up a new hobby. You can even share what you’re doing on social media. It just might make someone’s day or better yet inspire them to do it too.

 

5. SWAY AWAY FROM NEGATIVITY

 

Your mental health is important. A daily update is needed but you don’t have to get bombarded with negative or worse false news. Take care of your mind, body, and spirit.

 

As Eid approaches, be the best person you know and try to help out others as well.
